What we do with what you send
Your file is read by three parties, not one.
The first is me. The second and third are OpenAI and Anthropic, whose models do the reading I cannot do by hand. Your deck, your site, your notes — the text of them passes through those two companies' APIs. If that is a problem, stop here and send nothing. It is a reasonable thing to stop over.
What those two do with it

Neither company trains its models on data sent through its API. Both keep short-term copies to watch for abuse: OpenAI for up to thirty days, Anthropic for no longer than thirty and usually less. After that the copies go.
Those are their published policies. They are not promises I can enforce, and you should read them yourself rather than take my summary for it.
Where the file sits

On a Webdock server in Copenhagen, Denmark. Encrypted at rest. Not on my laptop, not in a shared Drive folder, not in an email thread.
Who can open it

Me. There is no team, no contractor, no analyst on retainer. When that changes, this page changes first.
Deleting it

Write to mail@coin.im and say delete. The files go within seven days and you get back a list of what went.
Deletion covers what sits on our server. It does not reach into the abuse-monitoring logs at OpenAI and Anthropic, which expire on their own schedule and not on ours.
The link we send you

After you upload, the result comes to your email with a link to your page. The link is long and random, and it is the only key to that page. There is no password, because a password would mean an account, and there is no account.
That has a consequence worth stating plainly: anyone holding the link can open the page. Forward the email and you have forwarded the file. Tell us and we will kill the link and issue a new one the same day.
What we do not do

Nothing here is sold or shared. Nothing here trains anything of ours. There is no analytics vendor on the upload page and no tracker on this one. We do not read your file to build a list and write to your competitors.
Send only what is yours to send

How deep the scan goes is your decision. More material, better reading — that is the whole trade, and you make it, not us.
But if a document sits under someone else's agreement, describe it in a sentence instead of attaching it. We would rather have the sentence.
This page describes a practice, not a contract, and I am not a lawyer. If your side needs a signed data processing agreement before anything moves, say so and we will do that first.
